Chicken and Pork Jambalaya Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-14 oz can tomatoes, diced
  • 2-14 oz cans chicken broth
  • 2 tbs worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tbs parsley
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp red pepper
  • ½ lb Hillshire farms sausage, cut ½ inch circles
  • ½ lb cooked ham, diced
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
  • tabasco to taste
  • 1 cup raw rice

Directions:

  1. Saute onion, bell peppers, garlic in a hot oiled Dutch oven, stirring frequently until tender
  2. Stir in sausage, ham, and chicken and cook for 5 minutes
  3. Add all remaining ingredients and cover.
  4. Cook for 45-60 minutes over low heat stirring as needed.
