My boss treated us to keylime pie ice cream. I had never heard of it to be honest and she shared the recipe with me. (I think she wants in my next book LOL) Anyway, we loved it and I thought I would share it with you to get your opinion. It’s different and anything different that is good gets the “WOW effect”.

I look for at any successful outing.

EVERYDAY INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup bottled Key lime juice
1/2 cup whipping cream
Dash of salt
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
6 graham crackers coarsely crushed, divided

SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP ONE: Assemble all ingredients and cooking instructions.
STEP TWO: Combine first 5 ingredients, stirring with a whisk.
STEP THREE: Pour mixture into freezer can of an ice-cream freezer, and freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions.
STEP FOUR: Before serving, sprinkle crushed graham crackers over ice cream and serve. May even throw a cherry on top.

This recipe serves six. You will definitely want to double it.
