Although it has its roots in the French countryside, barbecue is one of the few culinary traditions that is almost entirely an authentic American tradition. The first barbecue on these shores was prepared by slaves in the Caribbean and in the American South, and it served two purposes: Because they were often given the less […]
If you’re like me, buy your steaks from the prepackaged section, and look for something discounted. I prefer steaks that are slightly grey, because they’re perfectly safe and the proteins are slightly broken down, making the steak a bit tenderer. However, those pickier (or with a bigger budget) should aim for higher priced, fresh red […]
This recipe comes from a version of a burger I had from a food truck. I took it and made it my own by using different spices and grilling it with hickory chips.
The dish I’ve presented to you is one of my favorite creations, and I made it for my husband while he was on his way home from snow camping. I wanted to present him with something that would not only be meaty, warm and filling but would also encompass all of his favorite flavors into […]
I love the combination of veal and sage, so I came up with this idea. Hope you love it too.
Pancetta and Gruyere cheese mixed with ground beef for a burger worthy of peak grilling season. Lean pancetta infuses savory, juicy flavor without overpowering the beef, while the earthy, distinct flavor of Gruyere brings a rich nuance. A few basic seasonings, toasted bun, grilled Vidalia onions and you are ready to eat right there at […]

This is an easy and flavorful way to grill Ribeyes. I just found this through trial and error over the years and my family LOVES it.
I created this one night when I realized it had been years since I had actually made kabobs. The beef marinates in a mixture of hot sauce and beer… add the cooling aioli and it’s the perfect combination.
This is my family’s favorite taco recipe. Its very easy to do. You can make the aioli and avocado salsa ahead of time. Then just grill, assemble and enjoy
The background of this recipe extends back to this last summer. I started grilling steaks and come up with a marinate and barbecue sauce that is good with the ribeye steaks. The barbecue sauce is also good with pork ribs and chicken. The barbecue sauce is a good all around sauce.

One of my biggest sellers last year was grilled meatloaf. I really never had a taste for meatloaf until I started grilling it. I make it all the time now. It’s strange how food takes on a whole new flavor once grilled. I HATE tomatoes, but I cannot get enough of grilled tomatoes. I’m just […]
